There is, during the creative act, a strange drive that brings us into a nowhere space, into a world where everything else is forgotten, where we can truly donate ourselves to what we have in front of our eyes. They are mostly flat, without perspective. The protagonists of my paintings are beings without footholds, support; they are trapped by their own outlines, their boundaries, and they are floating, alone. Their features can somehow, sometimes, appear childish but their eyes are aware of their condition.
